Do Your Research !

There is an abundance of companies offering sliding doors as well as bifold doors. As customers you need to do alot of research on what is actually offered and how its installed.   If in any doubt ask as many questions as you need when comparing frame profiles, running gear and ultimately the installation process.

You should only deal with a sliding door company who have their own installers or expert support available at the time your builder installs them. Installation is in some cases more important than the product being installed which is why we recommend our installers.

Installation

Everyone in the company has been installing at one time or another so we know how much work goes into a proper installation.  Weight consideration, profile,track and finish of a sliding glass doors are key factors.

Typically the installation requires a full day for a large ground floor location sliding door with up to 6 professional installers. We always have our experts onsite to do the job correctly first time or to support supply-only projects.

Installation is Everything !

This is why we have our own expert installers on the payroll unlike other companies but can equally support builders. Our top tip is to compare as many companies as you need to ensure you’re getting the right profile bifolds. You then need to check who will install it, if they’ve done it before and what support they need.

All sliding door installations are covered by insurance and we are proudly comply with New Zealand building code.

Warranty

All our customers are covered by our sliding glass door and bifold manufacturers warranty which applies to all the products we sell ranging from bifold doors, sliding glass doors, windows and even fixed panel frameless glass applications for residential or commercial use.

Post Installation Follow-up

There may be a requirement that your glass sliding door or bifold installation requires a follow-up adjustment which is normal. Your builder will be aware of this if they installed your bifolds. If our team of installers were used we offer this for free in the scope of our quotes. Other reputable providers could charge a follow-up ‘call out’ fee.   We’ve never believed in this type of client charging and thankfully never will. You can rest assured if there is ever an issue with your bifolds or sliding doors we will be back to solve it in a flash.
